How to play the A whole tone scale
- Find A (Root) on the piano keyboard
- Play B (Major second) — 2 semitones above A
- Play C# (Major third) — 4 semitones above A
- Play D# (Diminished fifth) — 6 semitones above A
- Play F (Minor sixth) — 8 semitones above A
- Play G (Minor seventh) — 10 semitones above A
- Play all 6 notes in ascending order to perform the A whole tone scale
