  1. Find A# (Root) on the piano keyboard
  2. Play C (Major second) — 2 semitones above A#
  3. Play C# (Minor third) — 3 semitones above A#
  4. Play D# (Perfect fourth) — 5 semitones above A#
  5. Play F (Perfect fifth) — 7 semitones above A#
  6. Play F# (Minor sixth) — 8 semitones above A#
  7. Play G# (Minor seventh) — 10 semitones above A#
  8. Play all 7 notes in ascending order to perform the A# aeolian mode
