How to play the C blues scale

  1. Find C (Root) on the piano keyboard
  2. Play D# (Minor third) — 3 semitones above C
  3. Play F (Perfect fourth) — 5 semitones above C
  4. Play F# (Diminished fifth) — 6 semitones above C
  5. Play G (Perfect fifth) — 7 semitones above C
  6. Play A# (Minor seventh) — 10 semitones above C
  7. Play all 6 notes in ascending order to perform the C blues scale
