  2. Play D# (Major second) — 2 semitones above C#
  3. Play E (Minor third) — 3 semitones above C#
  4. Play F# (Perfect fourth) — 5 semitones above C#
  5. Play G# (Perfect fifth) — 7 semitones above C#
  6. Play A (Minor sixth) — 8 semitones above C#
  7. Play B (Minor seventh) — 10 semitones above C#
  8. Play all 7 notes in ascending order to perform the C# aeolian mode
