- Play F (Minor third) — 3 semitones above D
- Play G# (Diminished fifth) — 6 semitones above D
- Play A (Perfect fifth) — 7 semitones above D
- Play Bb (Minor sixth) — 8 semitones above D
- Play C (Minor seventh) — 10 semitones above D
- Play all 7 notes in ascending order to perform the D gypsy scale
