The G lydian mode consists of the G (Perfect unison), A (Major second), B (Major third), C# (Diminished fifth), D (Perfect fifth), E (Major sixth) and F# (Major seventh) notes.

How to play the G lydian mode
- Find G (Root) on the piano keyboard
- Play A (Major second) — 2 semitones above G
- Play B (Major third) — 4 semitones above G
- Play C# (Diminished fifth) — 6 semitones above G
- Play D (Perfect fifth) — 7 semitones above G
- Play E (Major sixth) — 9 semitones above G
- Play F# (Major seventh) — 11 semitones above G
- Play all 7 notes in ascending order to perform the G lydian mode
