How to play the E phrygian mode
- Find E (Root) on the piano keyboard
- Play F (Minor second) — 1 semitone above E
- Play G (Minor third) — 3 semitones above E
- Play A (Perfect fourth) — 5 semitones above E
- Play B (Perfect fifth) — 7 semitones above E
- Play C (Minor sixth) — 8 semitones above E
- Play D (Minor seventh) — 10 semitones above E
- Play all 7 notes in ascending order to perform the E phrygian mode
