How to play the F mixolydian mode

  1. Find F (Root) on the piano keyboard
  2. Play G (Major second) — 2 semitones above F
  3. Play A (Major third) — 4 semitones above F
  4. Play A# (Perfect fourth) — 5 semitones above F
  5. Play C (Perfect fifth) — 7 semitones above F
  6. Play D (Major sixth) — 9 semitones above F
  7. Play D# (Minor seventh) — 10 semitones above F
  8. Play all 7 notes in ascending order to perform the F mixolydian mode
