  2. Play F (Major second) — 2 semitones above D#
  3. Play G (Major third) — 4 semitones above D#
  4. Play A (Diminished fifth) — 6 semitones above D#
  5. Play A# (Perfect fifth) — 7 semitones above D#
  6. Play C (Major sixth) — 9 semitones above D#
  7. Play D (Major seventh) — 11 semitones above D#
  8. Play all 7 notes in ascending order to perform the D# lydian mode
